This was a small gig, and they got down to business again ( the other night was a bit louder, but this gig the vocals were much clearer ) I dragged my friends again and they loved it! met a girl from Bremen who used to live in Portland in the early 90s and we hung out after the show got some cds from them and they signed them for us with all kinds of funny stuff as well as litlle doodles, talked to Sam and Janet for a bit talked about Mike Watt playing tomorrow night here in Hamburg,

I walked up to sam before we were all out and said " Sam i am down with the program green eggs and ham yosimite sam' ( from the Beasties boys) Janet laughed she was like where are you from with that accent,The Bronx NYC i saßd. I was telling Sam about the tape a friend gave me years ago that had an Eddie Hazel solo record ( Games dames and guitar things ) from Funkadelic on one side and Featuring Birds on the other that had turned me on to them and that it was my favorite tape in the kitchen took cook to for quite a while, he was kinda surprised he wound up on the flip side of Eddie Hazel. Really nice folks those two, really nice two nights of music and vibes!!
